NB Scotties & Tankard Format Review Voting – Apr NB Scotties & Tankard Format Review Voting – April 17-23, 2023Following surveys and consultations earlier this season, curlers who will play or are considering playing in the New Brunswick Scotties and Tankard championships are now asked to rank three playdown format options in order of preference. The options are as follows:•	Preliminary event leading to 8-team round robin with 3-team playoff (currently in use)•	Open full triple knockout (used in the 2022 Tankard when COVID-19 prevented us from holding a preliminary event)•	Open modified triple knockout with page playoffVoting links, as well as sample draws to compare format options, have been provided to curlers on the players’ email distribution list. If you have any questions or if you wish to receive the voting link, please contact Alex Robichaud at nbcaplayers@gmail.com.The voting period will end on Sunday, April 23, at 11:59 p.m. Potential format changes must subsequently be approved at Curling NB’s Annual General Meeting held on May 7.

The Championship Bracket at the 2023 NB Mixed Cham The Championship Bracket at the 2023 NB Mixed Championship has been determined. The final Provincial Championship of the season ge The final Provincial Championship of the season gets underway shortly as the 2023 Mixed Championship is set to begin in St. Andrews.  Nine teams are vying for the coveted Heart crest and to represent NB at the 2023 Canadian Mixed Championship next fall. The semi-finals of the 2023 NB Seniors are current The semi-finals of the 2023 NB Seniors are currently underway at TSA.  In women's play, Teams McCann & Donaher are vying for a spot against Team Graham at this afternoons Championship game.  On the men's side, the winner of the Teams Kennedy & Blanchard game will face Team Keefe in this afternoons Men's Championship game.

Having shared a final record of 2-3 in Pool B Roun Having shared a final record of 2-3 in Pool B Round Robin play with two other teams, it would be their Last Stone Draw record that landed NB's Mixed Doubles Team of Julia Evans & Noah Riggs in the Playoff Round at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.  Team Evans/Riggs will meet Team QC at 2:00 this afternoon to determine which of the two teams will continue their quest to reach the podium.
