NBCA Technical Program
Should any NBCA Affiliated Club wish to host a clinic or course, please contact Dean Grattan, Curling NB Technical Director (nbcatechdir@gmail.com) A minimum number of participants may be required.
Coaching Courses include:
Club Coach Youth: is a one (1) day workshop designed to train coaches/instructors who will primarily support athletes in the FUNdamentals (U9) and Learn to Train (U12) stages of the Long-Term Curler Development Framework in a club environment. Club Coach: Coaches who take this two-day workshop become “Club Coach Trained”. This workshop does not lead to CERTIFICATION. This is a program designed to enhance the skill set of the coach/instructor who functions primarily at the club level training athletes in the Curl for Life pathway (age 15+) of the Long-Term Curler Development Framework. Competition Coach: Consists of 1) on-line, on demand learning, 2) one day in-person training and 3) On-ice Practice Evaluation. For further details, see link below (Curling Canada Competition Coach Pathway).
