NB's Team Carter stepped things up today with two NB's Team Carter stepped things up today with two wins at the 2023 Canadian U18 Championships, leaving her with a 3-2 record at the end of day 4.  Team Marin & Team Forsythe continue to sit tied for 1st place on their respective Leaderboards.  Forsythe sits at 4-1, while Marin has yet to experience his first loss.  Tomorrow is the final day of Round Robin play.  Team Carter's last RR  game will be live-streamed through Curling Canada Plus  at 1:30AST.
The 2023 NB Tankard is underway at Curl Moncton wi The 2023 NB Tankard is underway at Curl Moncton with the final eight teams battling for the Heart crest and the right to represent NB at the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier.  2022 Canadian Curling Club Champions-Team Park was on hand to deliver the opening stone. At the end of day 3 of the 2023 Canadian U18 Champ At the end of day 3 of the 2023 Canadian U18 Championships, NB's Team Marin (Boys1) sits at the top of the Boys "Pool A" Leaderboard while Team Forsythe (Girls2) is in 2nd place on the Girls "Pool A" Leaderboard.  Team Carter will be first on the ice tomorrow morning, with both boys' teams (Marin & Robichaud) following in the afternoon draw.  Team Forsythe will finish off the day with the evening draw. The Curling NB Technical Committee is considering The Curling NB Technical Committee is considering offering two Coach Courses this spring:  Competition Coach Course and Club Coach Course.  As such, we are  currently accepting names of those committed to attending as the final decision will be based on numbers.  If you haven't already submitted your name, please contact our Technical Director, John Corbin, at nbcatechdir@gmail.com and indicate which of the two courses you would atttend.

At the end of Day 2 of the Canadian U18 Championships, we have the following results:  Team Marin (Boys1) 3-0, Team Carter (Girls1) 1-1, Team Robichaud (Boys2) 1-1 & Team Forsythe (Girls2) 2-1.  All four teams will be back on the ice tomorrow, with Team Robichaud up first for the 10:30 AM draw. Many thanks to the on-site NB supporters for sending in the game photos.

NB1 (Team Carter) defeated ON2, while QC defeated NB2 (Team Forsythe) by sealing 1 in the 8th.  Play continues tonight for the boys, with the girls returning to the ice in the morning.

Congratulations, Team Marin (Timothy, Rajan Dalrym Congratulations, Team Marin (Timothy, Rajan Dalrymple, Emmett Knee & Cameron Salaj), on your win of the 2023 NB Junior Men's Championship last night.  This morning, Teams Campbell & Forsythe are facing off in the final game for the Junior Women's Title.
Team Campbell again defeated Team Forsythe, winnin Team Campbell again defeated Team Forsythe, winning, after only 6 ends of play, the 2nd women's qualifying spot of the 2023 NB Juniors Championships.  Other Draw 5 results are Gaines/Price & Brewer/Pugsley. On the men's side of things, it was Marin/Dalrymple.  Tomorrow morning, in our feature game, Marin & Stewart will face off again for the final men's qualifying spot.

Also, on the men's side, it was Dalrymple/Robichaud.  The women's section was Campbell/Gains & Forsythe/Brewer.  Tonight's feature game will have Forsythe and Campbell facing each other again for the 2nd women's qualifier.
